Pathfinder 1 Achieves Untethered Outdoor Flight

Today, Pathfinder 1 reached its next milestone of untethered outdoor flight. 

The LTA Research airship operations crew and flight test team accompanied Pathfinder 1 from Hangar Two onto the runway at Moffett Federal Airfield. After successfully completing all safety checks, the crew looked on as Pathfinder 1 left the ground and achieved untethered flight outside.

This achievement is an exciting step as we progress in our extensive and incremental outdoor flight testing of Pathfinder 1.
